We are very excited to announce that one of our venture investments, Trendsales, Denmark's largest second-hand marketplace for fashion and lifestyle products, has been acquired by Vinted. Vinted is Europe's leading online C2C marketplace for second-hand fashion.
This exciting development and strategic move bring together two formidable companies sharing a joint mission: to make second-hand the preferred choice.
THORNICO and our CEO and Owner, Christian Stadil, have been part of Trendsales since the beginning in 2014 – you might remember them as Tradono, who in 2017 entered a partnership with and changed their name to Trendsales.
Congratulations to CEO and Co-founder Mads Aarøe Matthiesen and the team on the excellent deal and for successfully closing this sale.
With a new strong owner, it will create value for the platform.
